Ninety percent of those shows sound like they should be on Nick Jr.

None of those are Nick Jr. material.

The remake should be gritty and dark.

So, turning it around, what's the worst thing Whedon has done? Titan A.E.?

He was one of three writers for that. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the movie, probably takes the cake. There also were a few really awful episodes in the show's early run.

    Um ... "Toy Story"?

How much credit should Whedon get for Toy Story? They brought in Joel Cohen, too, but I doubt either was given any chance to make editorial decisons. Toy Story is John Lasseter's pride and joy.

Would you say the same about Alien Resurrection?

Seasons two and three of Buffy were great. Basically, everything after the first season and pre-Riley was great. I understand the final seasons were well-received, but I was done by then,

A few people tell me I have a Nathan Fillion thing going on (I don't see it; probably just the wife dreaming and friends indulging her), but that means Firefly rules as far as I'm concerned.

Regarding Avengers: Will Leitch wrote that in 20 years young filmmakers will study it like they study Star Wars. It was pretty great.
