When someone is stupid enough to drive that drunk and not be wearing a seatbelt while talking on the cell phone, they almost deserve it. The grief for his family and friends not so much, but stupidity needs to be taught a lesson.

 

The police said this morning that wearing the seat belt wouldn't have helped Hancock.

The Cardinals are holding a press conference now.

 

As mentioned earlier, I'm just glad he didn't take someone else with him. What if that tow truck had pulled in front of the stranded car rather than behind? Or if the tow truck driver had been out of the cab walking around the back of his truck. Seems very fortunate that one of the other parties involved in theis accident wasn't a casualty as well.

 

The Cardinals can stop comparing this to Darryl Kile right about now.

I haven't followed this story that closely, but do we know who he was talking to on the phone when he died? Has that person come forward?

Can you imagine what that person might have heard?
