and the game isn't over yet. All of them 2-run shots, all scoring Elvis Andrus.

First guy to do it since Carlos Delgado in 2003.

Also has a double, so an AL record 18 total bases.

I'd let him do coke off my body.

Edit: Writing that reminded me of Bubbler's version of me in his live-tweet of Hoosiers. :D :D :D

I'm told he also homered in his last AB last night, too.

That's true, Tony. And supposedly, his double tonight didn't miss going out by much.

Rangers just finished batting in the top of the 9th, so Hamilton won't get a shot at 5 ... unless the Orioles score 7 in the bottom of the ninth.

I'm saving that for the next time a guy has a no-hitter in the fifth ... or Jeter does something. ;)

Calico Joe did it in his first game. John Grisham wrote a great book about it.

That would be a lot of coke.

And he's in a contract year too.

Rangers cost themselves a bunch of money by not giving him an extension in spring training like he wanted.

BTW, where's Manky to tell us how Jeter is having a better year than Hamilton? [/pulling that string] :D

Holy crap. I love this guy.

Just got home, and haven't watched any baseball tonight, but this is awesome.

    He's Roy Hobbs.

    That's who he is.

It wasn't that many years ago that the guy was knocking shots over the greenhouse beyond the center-field fence at my old school.

This outburst doesn't surprise me in the least. If he can keep on top of those demons, he's a special talent. Tough not to like the kid ...
