One of the things that made the 70s such a special time.

I can just imagine the product development meeting introducing the concept:

"Yea, so we make these 20 oz. missiles/projectiles with pointy, sharp metal tips and you stand at opposite ends, about 20-30 paces apart and you try to throw the dart so it gouges into the ground within the circular ring your opponent stands about a foot away from. Great for family gatherings where copious amounts of alcohol are consumed. You can even hold your Schlitz in one hand and launch the flying javelin with plastic wings attached with the other."

"Fantastic idea. What could possibly go wrong? Let's sanction production of 750,000 units. Hey, have you heard 'Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy' yet?

So that's too dangerous now according to the fun police, but heaving wooden cannonballs under the exact same circumstances gets a pass.

When you all say "jart", do you mean "jirt"?

Because nobody made the jirt more famous than this guy:

That's worse than jorts and jarts, but not worse than sharts and Jot.

Kids today wouldn't be interested in lawn darts for two reasons.
    1) They aren't electronic.
    B) They would have to get off their lazy asses and actually move.

Wonder if my set is still in the attic...probably in the same box as my clackers.

    Friggin' safety nazis.

Depending how much — and what angle — you shart, trouser chili could turn into brown leg.

Either way, Mud Butt also is in play.

    Even Julian Javier thinks so.

Not sure his stance on jorts, though.
