To start with, the premise on this one is bad. Then it's compounded by arguments that LeBron is somehow Jordan's equal even though he's not a better basketball player in any phase of the game and he's about one-tenth as great a competitor, especially when it matters. Mix in others stating that Pippen wasn't one of the top players in the game in his prime. It's laughable.

Unless, of course, this thing is about LeBron and Wade being better than Jordan and Pippen RIGHT NOW. Then I take it all back.

Pippen probably learned to play that kind of hellacious defense at Arkansas under Nolan Richardson.

I don't know how old you are, but Richardson's teams at Arkansas brought it defensively. Legendary.

Which would mean something if Pippen had played in Fayetteville, instead of in Conway at the University of Central Arkansas.

Swing and a miss. A big one.

The direct player comparisons won't work. Jordan was the bigger killer. LeBron wants to share the ball. Jordan didn't. Pippen was the better defender. Apples, oranges, limes, kiwis, etc. ...

    Jordan never did it.

Jordan learned not to do it when he played for Coach K at Duke.

The first time Pippen had the chance to show he could win without Jordan, he quit at home in the playoffs against the Knicks.

I don't think Kobe has ever done anything similar, not with that much on the line.

Which is why you're often out of your element on anything non-NFL.
