Joplin Globe layoffs

    I just heard the Globe laid off several people.

    Does anyone know more?

    At least 1 from sports, veteran farm reporter also axed among anywhere from 15-25, depending on what you hear.

    Thanks for the input, Ivor.

    But I lived in that area long enough not to put too much stock in that person's version of the news. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say the guy has a jaded version of the Globe. I guess you have to wonder where all that venom comes from.
