    Doesn't the publisher have some sort of obligation to tell people which passages were problematic. I bought this book a while ago but never got around to finishing it. Tempted to go back and read it and see if I can spot the problem parts. (Frankly, the parts I did read I thought were similar to work that others had already done better, which I think is why I stopped reading it).

    How would a publisher go about doing that though? I guess you could release a statement but how many people will see it?

    Press release, put it on the website, lots of things they could do.

    The most amazing thing is that Lehrer's website, www.jonahlehrer.com , is still up, utterly unchanged, still touting all this, frozen in time.
