Joining the 3,000 hit club

Like my hero Roberto, I now stand on second and tip my cap.
Uh, just kidding.
I thought the occasion of my 3,000th post called for some grand, futile gesture. So I went through the membership rolls, all 191 pages, and counted up how many of you guys and gals beat me to the clubhouse.
By my count, the total was 69. (Not making that up)
So I take my place in the top 1 percent of posters, having wasted more time doing so than I care to consider. And I salute those of you at the top of the heap. I know how hard you've worked to get there.

 

You know you could have sorted the posters by number of posts, thus coming up with everyone who has hit 3,000 in just two pages?

 

Congrats on the 3,000th post twoback. Time well wasted, I'm sure.

 

But if he did that he would have seen he was the 72nd person to reach 3,000 (and been on page 3, not page 2) .

Congrats Twoback. Now I won't win poster of the week for MY milestone achievement. The league office always goes with the guy who gets to 3,000 before they will even consider all of us stuck at 1,000.

(But for the record, I knew about the sorting by posts thing -- we'll just have to stop using really big words)
