    This isn't a sports-only position, but I thought I'd post here anyway.
We’re looking for a social whiz to join our team.
You’d be working with sports, news and features content.
We cover the Eagles, Steelers, Ravens and Penn State, and have Facebook accounts for each.

Do you get all geeked up when one of your Facebook posts piles up 1M impressions or 500 shares?

Are you an idea machine who could sit around all day and build highly engaging social cards?

If so, PennLive is looking for a collaborative and creative leader to help guide our talented social media team.

This innovative individual will make sure our highly engaging house accounts continue their solid growth.

Our fleet of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube accounts has almost 640K fans and has generated more than 4.8M engagements in the first half of 2018.

We feed our accounts 7 days a week, 365 days a year with a calculated mix of live and on-demand videos, links posts (owned and shared), social cards, polls, memes and anything else that will drive interactions.

We need someone who can bring ideas to the table each day and create engaging content across all of our platforms.

You’ll need to hit the ground running with our close-knit social team, while working hand in hand with our newsroom content editors in news, sports and lifestyles.

And, be ready to routinely use analytics to track the effectiveness of our engagement efforts, so we can continue to grow our voice across Pennsylvania.

PennLive is a 24/7, award-winning statewide news gathering organization based in Harrisburg, the state’s capital.

We also have content gatherers in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

We regularly generate national, award-winning investigative, breaking news and enterprise content in news and sports. And, we average about 4.5M unique visitors a month.

We’re moving fast on this position, so please check out our social accounts and email Burke Noel at bnoel@pennlive.com with your plan to help our social team keep building a highly engaged audience.

Are you planning to hire a Ravens beat writer? There seems to be just one link to PennLive’s Ravens coverage and a ton to other sites on your Facebook page.

    boundforboston:
Aaron Kasinitz will be covering the Ravens for us.
The plan is to have him in Baltimore by the start of training camp.
Aaron covered the Eagles for us the past two seasons.

Do you need help with motorsports coverage?

Joseph: We're not looking for any motorsports writers/freelancers right now.
But please email me a resume.

Hey PennLive, do you need anybody to cover NASA? How about a White House correspondent while we're at it?

God I am so sick of the threads on this site being hijacked by the stupids
