John Travolta's son dead at 16

Sad. Hit his head in a bathtub at the family's vacation home.

Just can't imagine the grief of outliving a child.

Apparently he had a seizure, too. Don't know if that caused the fall.

But a very sad thing, for sure.

Another story I read indicated the son had a rare heart-related condition that can apparently be brought on by carpet-cleaning chemicals, among other things. John said that he was fastidious about keeping Jett's room clean, so he had the carpet cleaned all the time. Figured that might have caused it.

Damn. Always liked Travolta and Kelly Preston.

    RIP, Jett.

Absolutely horrid. So upsetting to see a 16-year-old gone before his life had really begun. I feel so bad for that family.

There is a quote in this story that will blow you away. Let's just say it is not neighborly.

Please don't complain after the fact of you are offended by it.

That was harsh.....but I can see the frustration from where it stems.

I believe there are anti-seizure medications.

If the parents withheld medication due to their religious (cult) teachings, wouldn't they be criminally responsible for the child's death?
