    My friend, a Braves fan, called me last night, and he really was close to tears. I never saw this coming, and I doubt many did. I've always had a lot of respect for the way things were done in Atlanta. Whether it was stellar players moving positions or taking pay cuts to keep the team competitive or all the young guys they brought up in 2005 to win their 14th title ... impressive.
