    If Lennon had recorded Whatever Gets You Through The Night in 1300, they would have burned him at the stake.

    Not for heresy, but because that song sucks.

    I'm sure he went to his grave worrying about what the Vatican thought of an off-the-cuff comment he made whe he was in his mid-20s.
