Suspect there's more philandering on the left, but nothing's exclusive.

I don't know if there's more philandering on the left, but the richness of catching a Republican is that the right is the side that makes God-fearing morality a campaign issue. Never heard of the Craigslist Congressman before this week, but according to the writeups he played that note relentlessly throughout his campaign.

And he's a hypocrite of the nth degree, but it doesn't make "family values" less noble.

Oh they're noble. They just don't need to be legislated into law.

While I may not agree with social conservative firebrands like Rick Santorum, at least they are consistent and practice what they preach. Even I don't agree with all of your beliefs and lifestyles, I'll respect them.

The ones I have a problem with are the John Edwards and Newt Gingrich types who emphasize their family and preach social conservatism yet are total hypocrites. How anybody can hold up Newt Gingrich, who is twice-divorced and served his first wife with divorce papers while she was in the hospital being treated for cancer, as a symbol of moral virtue is beyond me.

    Noble my ass.

The fact that any politician preaches that shit to me is insulting.

The number of gay family values Republicans could fill up the Rotunda

I'm not talking about politicians espousing it, I'm talking about the basic concept itself.

It loses any nobilty when it comes out of a politician's mouth.
    Do it, don't preach it.
