Joey Porter to the Dolphins

    Not too much money.

    Porter had dance partners, Dolphins wanted him.

    Market rate.

    Just because someone was willing to pay that much doesn't mean they should have.

    because now they can spread the signing bonus over five years, he got $32 million but only $20 is guaranteed so essentially it is a three year deal with club options on the other two

    I still think 3 is a risk at this point given his 2006 season.

    agreed, that is why the Steelers let him go, I think this could rejuvenate him though, I see him having a big impact then tailing off at then end of the contract

    Watch out New England Jason Taylor and Joe Porter on the same side of that 3-4 D damn thats scary.

    Yeah and then Colvin dislocated his hip, not sure what your point is. Plus he's been just about as good as a pass rusher the past two years as he was in his Bears days.
