That wasn't before "The Catch". That was before the final drive against the Bengals when John Taylor scored the winning touchdown.

The Catch was against Dallas before San Francisco's first Super Bowl.

What's more impressive Elway's 2-3 record in the Super Bowl or Brady's 3-2 record in the Super Bowl?

Brady was a pretty significant favorite in four of the Super Bowls.

Elway was a huge underdog in three of the Super Bowls, a slight favorite in one and a huge favorite in the other.

Mizzou - I believe the Giants were favored last year.

Collective total score of Elway's first three Super Bowls: Opponents 136-Broncos 40. And Elway's play got progressively worse in each blowout loss. He was regarded as a very great quarterback who was doomed to get clobbered in Super Bowls.
Third point: Bill Parcells said once when coaching the Pats that anyone who didn't appreciate that Buffalo reaching four straight Super Bowls was an historic accomplishment didn't know anything about football. I tend to agree.

    I definitely agree with that.

Buffalo was a huge underdog in three of those games and the other, as Shockey pointed out, was one of the best Super Bowls of all-time...

Hard to argue that Buffalo was the best team to reach four straight Super Bowls.

    Sure.

I enjoyed when a Jets fan or two last night, or Colts fans, were saying "hahaha! Brady is NOT Montana!!!!"

    Very true.

But this is like saying Kobe Bryant is not Michael Jordan.

No shit, but he's still pretty great.
