Just saw that Jason King, one of the KC Star's two Chiefs beat reporters was leaving for Yahoo. Anybody know if something's going to open up?

Yahoo! Sports is fast becoming a player in internet sports. Great acquisition.

The KC Star has been raided quite a bit over the last two years... Hardly a surprise given the quality of the section...

The SE may be the best in the business, IMO...
  5. KC Star sure puts out a hell of a section.

They also tried to hire Joe Schad, right before he went to ESPN.com.

Elizabeth Merrill got the job instead, and now she's at ESPN.com

I don't know. I think their coverage of English Premier League soccer is lacking.

As partial as I am to the Trib, I may have to agree with you.
