Jimmy Fallon to host, Lorne Michaels to produce Oscars for...

    Fallon remains a creep. Talk about falling upward. He's about as funny as a compound fracture.

    I read something that said, "Since Kimmel is hosting the Emmys, he can't host the Oscars..."

    I have no idea if that's true or not, but I don't think it's ever been an issue in the past...

    I will be very surprised if this winds up happening.

    I also agree that Kimmel would be a far better choice. His post-Oscar shows the last few years have been pretty damn funny.

    I like Fallon, but his fans skew way, way, way too young to host the Oscars.

    The Oscars want a wise-ass who ultimately buys into all of the BS. That is why Crystal was perfect and Letterman was a considered to be a bust. Fallon is way better suited for that type of a deal than Kimmel.
