If the Palestinians put down their weapons today, they would all be dead by the end of the weekend.
If you think Israel doesn't want to wipe out every Palestinian, you are being naive.

That's deplorable? We use the word very differently.

Nowhere there does it say that they are targeting innocents. Again, if the criminals use innocents as shields, what are they supposed to do?

  4. You tell me.
Would you rather Hamas run the government or not?

Find me a Palestinian who said that, and get back to me.

The person you quoted is just a teensy bit biased.

    From the AI report:

"In the past two months, Israeli forces have killed more than 230 Palestinians in Gaza, including scores of unarmed civilians, and wounded and maimed many others."

    None of them were innocent.
And firing rockets into populated areas from F16's means you're killing innocents whether you specifically target them or not. Intent follows the missile.

Israelis do not want all palestinians dead. whoever told you that is a moron, or you are a moron for thinking so. have you been to the area or spoken to any israelis? They want peace. They want to be able to not wonder if the person wearing a backpack has a bomb in there on the bus. if palestinians put down there weapons, there would be peace.

one problem is neither side has any trust for the other, which makes it hard to have meaningful talks. and i'm not saying israel is perfect here. they sometimes react harsher than maybe they have to. but all those "children" that are killed, many are teenagers, and if you ever watch a rally there, you'll see many teenagers with weapons.

Sometimes react harsher? How about almost every time. Israeli apologists over here are half the problem.

if your child was in danger of being blown up everyday just by riding a public bus, you may feel differently. take a walk in someone else's shoes before you start to judge.

Isrealis and Palestinians want peace on their terms. No negotiation, no compromise. That is the problem. No peace can be attained that way, only mounting bitterness and bloodshed.
