    Hands down the worst decision I have ever seen in a boxing match, amateur or pro, in almost 50 years of watching the sport.

    I remember reading the SI article afterward, where one of the judges who voted against Jones admitted that Jones had dominated so much that he thought the other four judges would vote for him, so he voted for the South Korean guy so the host country wouldn’t be embarrassed.

    I also remember the next American guy up after Jones just went nuts and destroyed his opponent for the gold because he didn’t want to risk another crappy decision.

    Jim Thorpe is an American legend and thank you Matt for alerting me to this upcoming bio, I had not known about it and now can't wait to read it.

    All that being said, Mauch Chunk is an awesome town name.
