Did you like the rainbow ones they wore before these?:

    YES!

What he is wearing in that pic above is bad.

    This is awesome:

    Disastros is also appropriate.

    Those are pretty sweet.

I wish they had brought those back when they left the Dome, but oh well.

And the seats on the inside of the Astrodome were color-coordinated with those unis.

Picture this with the various shades of orange changed to various shades of purple and you have the uniforms one of our rival high school teams wore when I was growing up.

When he was still broadcasting the Giants games, Hank Greenwald would tell a story about how he tuned in KDKA one night and Bob Prince telling his listeners there were "45 men on second and third base," and how the heck do you explain that to people with a limited knowledge of baseball?

Different eras. The first one being during Hurricane Katrina.

    But enough of my nostalgia.

It's a bad idea, Mr. Crane.

I always thought these were pretty sweet. Can't imagine MLB would ever allow a gun on a team jersey nowadays.

One of the first MLB games that I ever attended was a Reds/Astros game at the Astrodome in 1983. My uncle got us tickets for Joe Price vs. Mike Madden. I memorized that pairing, knowing that had we gone the next night it would have been Mario Soto vs. Nolan Ryan. Insert face palm.

The design has made a comeback in the college ranks in recent years.
    There's Virginia Tech...
