Not that it matters any, but Nicholls State is Division I-AA - or whatever it is they are calling it now (FCS?). They are not Division II. Not that it really matters...

That playoff run was all Erik Kramer.

Dooley noted, Simon. But Redskins 41, Lions 10 makes it easy to forget the Lions made the NFC title game.

One of the more underrated QBs of recent years. Funny how he was always regarded as a stopgap ... and the way in which he shut Jimmy Johnson up was priceless.

"Barry Sanders will not beat us," said Hairspray.

Well ... he was sort of right. Kramer and the passing game peppered the Cowboys, then Sanders ran over what was left of the defense to reach the NFC Championship Game. Well done, Detroit.

And no, I'm not a Lions fan.

Kramer's '95 season in Chicago was great. Is this the first Erik Kramerjack in sj history?

We interrupt this threadjack to inform you all that the ninety-twelfth round draft pick from Nicholls State nearly got Chad Pennington killed tonight.

I hope so. I'm definitely a fan of the guy.

Whelihan? I know a Chargers fan that would probably still shoot the guy at first sight. Could not stand the man.

(Sorry, S-P ... like Kramer too much to ignore the jack possibilities 8) )

I see your Laufenberg and raise you a Stan Humphries.

Well, since we're on a San Diego QB jack, I'll go all in with John Friesz.
