I give Jerry Lewis all the latitude in the world.

When this Guiliani asshole does half for mankind that Jerry Lewis has, then he can make demands.

Flipping through channels and stopped briefly on the telethon. It was the local segment where they name all those who give $50 and such and saw on the screen that one hour of research costs $5,100.

Man, you'd think you could say whatever you want on a show no one watches.

For what it's worth, Neil Giuliano appeared on the telethon 30 years ago presenting a symbolic check as president of a college organization.

He's also the former mayor of Tempe and a good guy.

Seriously, does anyone think Jerry Lewis is gonna drop "illiterate faggot" during the telethon and not have GLAAD denounce it?

Jerry Lewis is old-school... he comes from a time when you could drop things like that, accidental or not, and no one would get their ulcers in an uproar. Been a proud MDA telethon volunteer for 24 years and have given when I can.

On a side note... god, did Ed look awful. I hope he's feeling okay.
