    peace to her family.

    Brewer and Steve Ringman, the photographer, have done a wonderful job sharing her story. I only wish it had a happy ending.

    I'm not a religious person, but for a while there, I really found myself believing she'd be healed. When I saw the extra posts on this one, I knew what was coming. Doesn't make it suck any less.

    But if she had to go, I think that last journal update before her passing says so much about who she was.

    I actually thought she would be healed too. That's what made the story interesting, the overwhelming faith of the family. So all this build up, and no miracle.

    The whole story about God speaking to the mom? For nothing in the end?

    RIP Gloria. Kudos to Jerry Brewer and his colleagues for the updates, uplifting and otherwise.
