As opposed to series finale — ratings have been ticking up, and I think CBS realized it fucked up when it put it on hiatus for 3 months. So I think it comes back for a second season.

Last week's episode was awesome. Great action, pretty good acting. Can't wait to see how Jericho wins the battle (you know they will) or who dies (it's a coin flip between Gray and Johnston — it'll be Gray.)

I hate being a Johnny-one-note on this series, but I love it and I'm sure I'm not the only one here who does.

This is a two-parter, right? Because I swear I remember them saying three more episodes two weeks ago and then saying "Season finale" last week.

It gets bogged down by the romance storylines, that I fast forward through anyway, but I was watching to see how it happened. And I think they setup the next season by introducing the evil bald man.
Interesting to see how Hawkins went from being a subplot to co-lead.

The only reason I watch it is for Skeet Ulrich ;D I am happy that he is on a successful show.

There was a good article on him in Entertainment Weekly a few weeks ago and how that happened.

He also said his actor friends were pissed at him because he moved to LA and got a show within two weeks and the role grew into basically a co-lead, while they'd all been trying for a long time to get a show without any success.

My guess is it's Gray that dies. My first thought was that Johnston would bite it because he's more likely to be out on the front lines, but I'm guessing they wouldn't have the Green family go through two major losses in a span of five or so episodes. Johnston is already starting to take back over, so it would make sense for Gray to die heroically (saving Johnston, perhaps?).

It's a very good show, though they are tidying up loose ends rather neatly. Messy love triangle between Eric, April and Mary with a baby on the way? Kill the wife and baby! Potential messy love triangle between Jake, Emily and Heather? Kill Heather! (well, maybe ... we still haven't seen a body.) Potential messy love triangle between Jake, Emily and Roger? Exile Roger!

My guess is the power struggle between Gray and Johnston ends this week.

Oh, and is it just me or did Dale go from a sympathetic character to a complete scumbag really quickly?

I'm wondering how the tank they got from the fake Marines will play into the battle. I also predict Heather will turn up — and that Jericho will make contact with one of the six sub-nations.

I agree on the tank. I think they stave off the invasion and then roll on Newburn Town Hall with that bad mamma-jamma.

I thought that the teasers showed that Heather is still alive.
And the tank is the key. I also kinda wonder if the show's producers expected it make it more than a couple of seasons. This season is wrapping up too nicely. Next season becomes the hunt for the bald bad guy and how they struggle to stay alive in Jericho.

Didn't see the previews but that doesn't suprise me a bit. Not sure why the hell they gave that away in the teasers after making it a point of having Jake tell Emily she's dead. Just kill the bitch so Jake can get it on guilt-free already!
