Feel free to lock, but I felt it deserved its own thread (this is my first stop for sports headlines in the morning, and I was shocked when I went over to the WWL and found out this happened):

You were shocked someone threw a no-hitter?

I was taken surprise by the news because I didn't see a thread on it here.

It happened on the West Coast, so it really didn't happen.

It happened against the Twins, so it doesn't really count. :D

The best part about Weaver's no hitter was when he left the dugout in the bottom of the 8th.

Asked about it afterwards, he admitted on TV, "Man, I had to pee so bad!"

    Gotta love the Cali boy.

Interesting discussion about whether or not Victor Rojas and Gubby let their baseball-ness get in the way of their broadcaster-ness.

This viewer had no problem with them not mentioning it. In an odd way, it made it seem like everyone, including the viewer, was involved.
