Yes, although curiously Dell didn't do every game last year (she took about 30 off), as she had the year before.

And word of this was out last year before the all-star break.

 

Turtle Wexler had this right. This was something Dell should have brought up and resolved, or insisted be resolved, herself.

 

Thank God Jay Leach never played in the Bruins organization; else Kathryn Tappen would've had to deal with the same thing in her NESN days. (Or are the rules different when the guy is a journeyman who's spent most of his career in the AHL?)

 

Were they dating/married before she got the job? That would change the equation. Also Tappen is a studio host (Dell's role now?) and was never actually at the rink, in the locker room, directly covering players.
