This song needs to have been retired 15 years ago.

 

It's very easy to change the channel or turn off the TV before that pathetic song and all the sappy crap begin.

 

Actually, if, as rumored, ESPN gets the tournament starting next year, it will be retired.

 

I've become less than thrilled with the way CBS puts it together - they've adopted the ESPN more is more philosophy of jamming so many highlights into a finite period that it's just (dunk, dunk, three!!!) with no chance for the viewer to register who it was that made the play, who they were playing and the significance of the play. Some more play by play would help.
I don't need shots of "crazy fans", mascots, crying cheerleaders, scrubs with their arms crossed, etc. Just give me the plays/moments that defined THIS year's tourney.

 

Agreed, but that will never happen. You always know ahead of time what CBS is gonna do

 

So far, it's not too bad. I liked it.
