    Based on some of the claims made by Wright, I'd have zero problem lumping him in with that group. Don't know anything about Campolo.

    EDIT: So what is your beef with Campolo?

    As near as I can tell, neither Wright nor Campolo talk about one specific "Christian" position on a specific issue or set of issues. "Crazy preacher" does not necessarily equal Christianist. Crazy preacher who actively supports candidates in such a way as to endanger his tax-exempt status -- and is now lobbying Congress to protect that status in defiance of the clearly delineated rules so as to live the fat life protected by oligarchic rightist politics -- would be.
