    Has anybody said he should be excused? No. Nice try at making an argument that no one else is making.

    The response is to charge him properly.

    Does it matter to anyone that the white kid who got beat up didn't have anything to do with the noose incident?

    I thought I read that the beat-down kid had hit one of the six who beat him up with a bottle.

    If you read the story, he was boasting about how one of his friends was involved in another racial incident when the fight started. It's funny how quick you are to view the white kid as an angel.

    Also, nothing has ever been printed saying this fight was a direct result of the noose incident. But, again, it's convenient to make an argument based on a point no one is making.

    If they are, they're wrong in doing so. He should serve as much time, or pay the same judicial price as anyone else who has committed similar offenses.
