My first thought when I saw this yesterday was "post it on the other JH thread.''

Then I read through it and decided, "it's nothing; don't post it anywhere."

So in summary, Jemele Hill is not leaving ESPN.

For someone just about no one likes, damn do people care a lot about what Jemele Hill does.

ESPN is gonna regret letting Jemele walk the same way they now regret letting Bill Simmons walk away and create The Ringer. That was a poor decision by ESPN to let Simmons go

    Is this a bait post?

ESPN can't possibly regret letting Simmons go.

    Is he Jemele's PR guy?

Hmm. He flamed out at HBO. I forget the Ringer exists until I’m occasionally reminded of it. They nuked Grantland a year after they let him go.

And he at least had a fan base, mostly Massholes, but he had a pretty big following. Does Jemele have the same?

The Ringer website doesn’t do much for me. It’s like every article is written by the same person with the same worldview.

However, his podcast is almost always must-listen, except for the ceaseless NBA off-season talk.
