    Statute of limitations probably hasn't kicked in.

    Best Irvin story in the book so far for me is when he was a rookie and matched up with Mike Haynes and promptly smacked him across the facemask like Rick James smacking Charlie Murphy. Amazing how the guy could party non-stop, sleep four hours and still be on time for lifting sessions and outwork everyone.

    Just finished the book.

    It ends a little flat, but I enjoyed it. Great read.

    Extremely well-reported. Almost 170 interviews.

    Interesting stuff alleging that asst coach John Blake attempted to ignite racial tension in the clubhouse.
    The book as a whole is a terrific read. I glossed over play-by-play details of various games, but I always do that with sports books. Absolutely worth the price.
