    After this column:

    http://espn.go.com/espnw/commentary/8009320/the-nasty-online-comments-female-athletes-misrules-attraction

"Another bad week for good manners.

If you've ever been to graduate school, you know all about the "male gaze," in which the world is presented and then understood from the narrow viewpoint of the heterosexual male. You'd also know about the male gaze if you've ever seen a beer commercial or been to Hooters, and you'd save $100,000."

Why does he have to turn in his Man Card? Because he let out the secret that guys like to ogle hot women?

Two recent examples here at the dot-com would be stories about Brittney Griner and Holley Mangold. Both strong women, beautiful and accomplished.

In what context, besides the 'everybody gets a trophy' context, is Holley Mangold beautiful?

The author used the word "beautiful".

Better call her beautiful or she'll come and kick your butt.

And those examples used were news a few months ago.

Maybe Jones could recreate his Esquire column about female performance in bed for the fledgling ESPN W.

Raise your hand if you read the first three or four grafs of that, lost patience and hit [ x ].

Your hard-on for Jones and MacGregor is Peter North-like.
