Yes, you are correct, yellow lights turn red and red lights turn green -- and the average New Yorker can't wait for either to happen.

And you are also correct that a city as large as New York contains a lot of dumb citizens who haven't figured out that laws of supply and demand dictate a buyer's market and if said buyers banded together and said "we ain't paying these asinine prices" they'd either drop or a lot of people would go out of business, and then they'd drop.

Instead, they wear the fact that they take it daily with no vasoline as some sort of a sick badge of honor......
