    Just another thing I don't like about the BCS -- stringing out the bowl season. I don't like this trickle of games on Jan. 2, 3, 5, 6 and 8. Wrap it up on the first Monday after the New Year, because otherwise, I want a playoff to decide things.

    When New Year's Eve becomes more relevant than New Year's Day (where bowls now have to compete with the Winter Classic), there's a problem.

    The Cardinals must salvage the Midwest's reputation today. MAC is 0-4, Big Ten went 1-5.
