The broadcast booths of America miss Pat Summerall.

Also, great story on the Ole Miss player who was adopted off the streets.

Also, it's a shame that the Cotton Bowl and all its history, its organization (as one of the best bowl experiences out there) will now make Jerry Jones a dollar or two in that cellphone of a stadium in Arlington.

Shit. First 60 minutes... now he makes a catch like that. The rest of us should go wallow in our shame.

Ole Miss is doing a nice job of making plays in the open field. This could be interesting, he says, putting the kiss of death on the remainder of the game

    Jesus,

Bring me back a souvenir from the last game at the Cotton Bowl. Oh, and PM me if you have a chance.

Thank you for the double greetings.

    Your friend,

    JD

Well let's give the Liberty Bowl credit for this: It was putrid well before the EagleBank Bowl came around. Back when bowls meant something for top 20 teams, there was the Liberty, Sun, Gator, Cotton, Rose, Sugar, Orange and Bluebonnet.

    Just keepin' it real, JD.

Of course, in the Oak Cliff neighborhood, not far off, no problem.

50th anniversary of Colts-Giants.... Summerall and Gifford should be in the box together.
