The James Taylor Great Performances tribute on public TV is on tonight (Mondeay) in my neck of the woods. Check your local listings. It was on several months ago and it's great show.

Disclaimer: I don't know if it's pledge week or not. Don't blame me if it is.

If indeed it is pledge week, I am not going to the Food King and stuffing meat under my sweater. I'm not.

I saw Taylor at the Dean Dome in 1992. Still one of my favorite concerts.

my first concert was j.t. at carnegie hall in 1975. very, very good, indeed. great band -- "the section," for west coast band aficionados -- and a guest spot by carol king.

Last night, it was the Lovin' Spoonfuls and John Sebastian. I was singing along with Sebastian during "Welcome Back." Great song/t.v. theme.
