    Some protection, per Yahoo Sports:

Houston also sent two 2013 first-round picks (from Dallas and Toronto) to Oklahoma City, sources told Y! Sports, as well as a 2013 second-round pick (via Charlotte). The Thunder will receive the Toronto pick this year if it's slotted Nos. 4-14. That pick also is top-three protected in 2014, top-two protected in 2015 and top-one protected in 2016.

Not seeing it with Martin. Lamb regressed last year, but he has the raw skills to be pretty good. Problem is that they are depending on a kid a couple of years out of HS to be a major part of a team ready to win the title.

I love how A.W. brings the heat on so many people, yet still gets a lot of scoops. I think he grinds too many axes, yes, but his ability to regularly bust skulls and still have enough friends to get inside info amazes me.

sheesh, i was half asleep this a.m. when the all-sports radio update guy raced thru the details of the deal. it sounded an awful lot like haden was stunningly dealt by the thunder to the houston rockets for kevin martin, JEREMY LIN, and some draft picks. so i'm thinking, 'WTF?! JEREMY LIN traded already? didn't take long for the rockets to give up on their free-agent prize...' turned on the ol' laptopm go to espn.com to see... 'ohhhhh... jeremy LAMB, not LIN....' back to sleep, wondering, who the hell is jeremy LAMB and how the heck did houston have 2 guys named JEREMY with last names thar could sound alike when breathlessly reported by a radio sports update geek. considering it was a geek on a NEW YORK radio station you'd think the guy would be more clear on jeremy LAMB, at least to cater to ignorant souls like moi who had never, ever heard of jeremy LAMB but who had jeremy LINSANITY forced upon him last season.

    END. OF. RANT.

    LOL.

Ibaka, Westbrook and Durant are the 1-2-3 for this group. If they handle these other picks well, they could have a great bench filled with rebounders, back to the basket man, shot blockers and shut down defenders to complement these three players.

Harden does not give you anything that Durant and Westbrook were not already giving you.

It sucks this week, but good trade in the long run.

Rockets have the cap space to sign another max level player this offseason. Also, even though Asik will be making $15 mil that year, it isn't going to be nearly that big of a hit on the Rockets' salary cap.

They're going to owe $45 million to three people in two years.

Yes, but Lin and Asik will only count for $8.6 million each against the Rockets' salary cap, which is clearly not "luxury tax hell."

That's not true. Asik's cap hit will be almost $15 million in two years.

That's only if the Bulls would have matched.

What kind of fucking bullshit rule is that? Jesus. As if the NBA wasn't already enough of a joke.
