    Fine. Every low-life pipehead in existence has thrown his rocks on the ground when the cops came calling, and claimed the drugs weren't his. They need a bit better line of defense than that.

    Big difference: Ray Lewis could actually play his ass off. And he wasn't suspended for three games. He was listed as inactive for one and as the team's third QB for two others. That's just a simple benching.

    Lewis' incident also happened under Tagliabue's watch. Goodell hasn't been so apt to look the other way at such behavior.
