What's it matter if the guy was a star or not?

 

Apparently the poster who believes he's like the guy from American Idol thinks its a big deal. Why, I have no idea. I just mentioned that its a coincidence that pro football players are getting shot in Florida. And before anyone googles it, I know there are a lot of grid stars from the Sunshine State, perhaps more than any state except Texas and California.

 

Don't forget about that Pata kid that got shot and killed while at Miami. He'd be in the pros now too.

 

And in 1996, UM linebacker Marlin Barnes shot and killed.

 

This may deserve its own separate thread but this is just awful.
His left leg has been amputated and he is paralyzed. And still no shooter has been located.

14 bullet wounds!?! I'd not seen that reported before then.

 

I know. That was not in the original report given to the media. Howeve, they did say he was hit multiple times.
Just say a prayer for Collier and his family.
I suspect that his leg may have been amputated earlier which is why the family didn't release any information about his condition.

 

Apparently the Jags didn't know how serious it was, either.

Wow.

 

Awful. Just plain awful.

Somebody is going to pay. There’s a $26,000 reward for information to leading to an arrest and conviction.
