Jackie Chan in Karate Kid remake

    I didn't see anything else posted on this.
    Well, the original is 25 years old, but I guess it's another sign that you're getting old when they remake movies that were made when you were in high school.
    Heck, it can't be any worse than Karate Kid 3

    Just a curiosity question here... If it is a remake, why does it have a different name? (Kung Fu Kid vs. The Karate Kid)

    Because Chan is Chinese, as is kung fu. Karate is indigenous to Okinawa/Japan.

    Then you'll be thrilled to know they're remaking Fame. Saw a preview for it on Saturday.
