Iverson and Garnett, together at last?

BTW, Philly, Boston and New York are 3 of biggest basketball markets in the country, knowledgable fans, packed houses, wonderful histories and THEY SUCK DONKEY SHIT through a straw on a nightly basis. David Stern, please check you ego and delusions of importance at the door. The NBA is soon becoming the MISL.

Garnett needs another scorer alongside him to be effective (he had some of his best success when Cassel was lighting it up, as well). Wonder if AI will be in uniform tonight against Chicago.

AI to the Clippers, perhaps? Kobe vs. AI, anyone?

I don't know the salary numbers for the T-Wolves, but I know AI is making in the neighborhood of $17 mil.

How the hell do you assemble a trade for Iverson out of that collection of cast-offs in Minnesota that doesn't include Garnett?

It's already been reported that Iverson wouldn't play Friday or tonight.

Marc Stein also wrote this morning that the Timberwolves can't package 2007's No. 1, as it goes to the Clippers conditionally as part of the Cassell deal.

    Oops.

I used the ESPN trade machine (http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/trademachine). Randy Foye, Mark Madsen, Eddie Griffin and Ricky Davis for AI works. Obviously, Foye is the centerpiece as a talented young guard and local kid. Griffin's 2.7 mil deal expires soon, Davis gives them scoring and Madsen can dance. Throw in a completely unprotected first round pick in 2008 and that's as good as the Sixers are going to get from the Wolves.

That's better than the 9-30 shooting that Iverson is going to get you, and when he's unhappy, he doesn't show up until 15 minutes before tip and shoots even more than usual. The only Coach he didn't kill was John Thompson, but that was only vecause he walked out early

John Thompson would kick his ass.

    In a heartbeat.

Well he did average 33 points last year and so far, he's averaging 31 for this season. At 31 years old, you would think he would've peaked already. Statiscally, he had a better year last year than he did during his MVP year.

I almost said that if you shot that much, you'd average 33.

    But no...
