iTunes Music Store coming to the web?

Apple bought Lala.com, a site which lets users buy and stream music via web browser, and has given senior Lala execs positions within Apple shaping strategy for the iTunes Music Store. Lala already had a deal in place with Google to place music tracks and purchase links inside Google search results, as well as one with Facebook.

So has Apple figured out another way to print money?

Until they figure out how to make iTunes tracks accepted currency, they haven't.
