What's the one where Snoopy leaves Charlie Brown to go visit his original owner, a little girl who is dying from cancer? That one is so sad.

"Snoopy, Come Home." I felt like an idiot when I saw that six years ago and got a little misty-eyed. But it's about a boy and his dog, dammit! And I had the book when I was a kid.

Snooo-oooo-oooo-oopy, Snooo-oooo-oooo-oopy come home, come home.

  5. I have never seen it. I think it's the only one of the classic Peanuts holiday specials I haven't seen. BTW: Did anyone catch the American Masters on Charles Schultz? I didn't find out about it till a few hours after it aired. I'm sure it'll come out on DVD if it isn't already.

While saddened that I missed it watching the Penguins, I do have it on DVD and will watch it tonight.

Linus: "You've heard about fury in a woman scorned, haven't you?"

Charlie Brown: "Yes, I guess I have."

Linus: "Well, that's nothing compared to the fury of a woman who
has been cheated out of tricks or treats."

I'm glad I had the night off from work so I could watch both.
