I don't play the stoopid my party/your party parlor game, so your post is pretty much gobbledygook.

Oh yeah. Say Obama at the fundraiser tonight says, "I have a plan for a program which will put One Million People back to work within 30 days, and I am sending it to Congress tomorrow," what do you think is the response from Congress?

I'm pretty sure Obama is the first president to hold a fundraiser during an election year.

Thus, we should all vote for Romney because of that. Also, socialism and Kenya.

Speaking of fundraisers, Mitt's holding one today with Meg Whitman. Yes, just a few days after Meg announced the layoff of 27,000 voters.

Holy crap, you guys are fucking insane. Half of this board has a hair trigger. Criticize GWB -> CLINTON GOT A BLOW JOB; Criticize Obama -> KENYA FAUX NEWS!!

Considering the only time Obama has been in So Cal is to beg for money, and considering that the economy blows and he's got six fundraisers in one day, yes, it smells to me a little like [IMG]

And no, I don't give a shit what Romney is doing today. I'm not voting for him, and he's not the president right now.

You realize, of course, that the two candidates will spend less this year than the U.S. will spend on ... potato chips.

Good choice. I like to think of it as an F U to Bostonians and Sam Adams (no offense to Mr. Gee and good members of this board from Mass).

HP employes something like 300,000 people. If she doesn't lay off the 27,000, then she puts the entire company, and all of those jobs in jeopardy.

President Obama and VP Biden, during 2010's "Recovery Summer" touted the number of jobs they had created, or saved.

By their calculations, Meg just saved a couple hundred thousand jobs.

Maybe the only correct thing you've posted all day.

Employees are expense items. And, just like a computer, a truck, a new assembly line, or a new factory, businesses will spend to hire more employees, if it will help to grow their business, and increase their profits.

Jobs are a result of a growing economy, not the cause of one. Growth has to come first. Otherwise, you are just adding expense if you hire new employees.

If employees are just expenses, count me out of that system. If employees are expenses, I shoudn't feel compelled to gve a honest day's work. It's just business.

And you boost profits by cutting employees!!

This is why we need a real bidnessman in the White House, who knows how to run a bidness.
