It's Shamrock Shake Season

I'm addicted to those things. They're like heroin.

 

I don't think I've had one in about 15 years. What the hell do they taste like again?

 

They're not the same as they used to be. They don't taste as good. They changed when McDonald's went over to that McFlurry shit.

Their old shakes were the best.

 

McDonald's here isn't even carrying them. Fuckers.

 

When I was growing up and we'd get McDonald's, I would get fries and a vanilla shake and dip my fries in the shake.

When they went to the Triple Thick, the vanilla shakes tasted like shit. Like they were trying to be malts, but just sucked. Haven't had a McD's shake in years. I'll try a Shamrock if I can find one when I'm on the road, but I won't expect it to be like the good ol' days.

It's that time of year again. There's been some sightings starting to pop up.

I clicked on this "new" thread and saw a post by the legendary John D. Villarreal and thought, "Thank God, JDV is BACK!"

And then saw it was from 2007

I miss JDV.

He was right up there with Pickle Juice and Bandwagon Boy as one of the greatest posters evuhhhh. All had brief sj lives but they rocked.

 

I've already had 3. And I'm thrown by the whipped cream with a cherry on top look to it.

Get that stinkin' cherry out of my shake.

 

I love me Lucky Charms... oh, and me Shamrock shakes as well!

Seriously, I used to try to order these things year-round, and I was very upset when McDonalds in Canada didn't sell them for years.

 

Well said, Gutter. The shakes haven't been as good since they started doing that. Think it was last year when they started.
