    Yanking a quote from the original 2010 stories,


    Yeah, there was already an existing legitimate established sport involving "gymnastics," which has been mostly killed off by the rise of cheerleading and dance team.

    It was called "gymnastics."


    The entire concoction of cheerleading supposedly being a "competitive sport" essentially comes from inserting a few graded gymnastic and tumbling routines in the middle of a bunch of sexy chicks shaking their booties.

    I suppose they could have come up with a sport called "hot-hoops" which would involve a bunch of sexy chicks shaking their booties and taking a few 3-minute breaks to play halfcourt 5-on-5.
