It's a nerd holiday.

I volunteer as a track coach at a local high school. Some dork teacher had a basketball jersey on with the No. 3.14 on it.

I actually helped one of my sons make a chocolate pie for his ninth-grade math class Friday. He said it was good.

 

My super-nerd scientist wife has a pi plate -- a porcelain pie plate with a pi sign on the bottom and the numerical value to like 100 places around the edge.
