It's 87 degrees in my apartment...

My bedroom in my parent's house while growing up was the farthest corner in the house away from the furnace/air conditioner. The sun hit it from about 10am until sunset. But what was especially brutal was that the house also trapped the humidity well as well. And growing up where I did, the humidity was worse than the actual heat.

By 4pm, in late July or August, it'd be so humid even flies would just lay over and pant.

 

South. Florida. Summer.

Next "mild" day will be, oh, around Oct. 27.

 

Hell, I'm in Atlanta and I feel that way. But yeah, South Florida's no joke.

 

I love my landlord lady.

Called today because I need to drop off my rent check before heading to Cleveland. She says she's prorating 7 days off my rent, plus taking an additional $50 off to help with the added electric cost. My rent for this month: $315. Awesome.
