Item of clothing you could not pull off

    A buddy swears by them. I tried some on yesterday, but I learned I do NOT like having something between my toes like that. The strap of a pair of flip flops is fine. But those things were like torture.

    Fashionable stuff ... I can't pull it off.

    I stay very, very conservative with my dress. Solid-colored button-down shirts, ties, polo shirts, khakis or dress pants for work, depending on the season. T-shirt/pullover, shorts/sweats/jeans for casual wear. I look like a serious poser if I'm trying to do anything outside the norm.

    About the one thing I'll do to break out of the mold is to wear a wool blazer with a button-down shirt on a really cold day. It's several decades out of style, but I still get tons of compliments from my students when I wear it.
