Just not my thing. Always have preferred khakis or dress pants for work, social settings or whenever I go out. If I'm doing anything active outside, it's usually shorts.

I wear an ascot when I attend weddings.

    I freakin' love it.

The best part is when the groom gives me the 'nod', knowing that I showed up with a bright ascot (I have 6 different ones)...

...and then seeing the bride shoot me a dirty glare in my attempt to steal a smidgen of the spotlight from her on Her Day. Ha ha ha.

Skinny jeans, no matter how thin I am. My thighs seem to triple in size as I try them on. I could be a size 00 and still manage to look like a pear.

Oh, and scarfs as headbands. They never stay on my head, and I think they look lovely -- not to mention keep the hair out of my face.

Is it me, or is there a preponderance of skinny jeans in high schools? Not just girls, but boys--band people, emo people and some others. Its like we made a 180 degree turn from a few years ago.

I'm not advocate of "skinny jeans," although I do buy "slim fit" or "straight fit" jeans. They just look way neater and cleaner than the baggy '90s jeans. That is a 180-degree turn that society definitely is better off for having made.

Anything fashionable. I'm not really fooling anyone if I try to dress well. I'll stick with my out of touch midwestestern suburban white guy stylings.

The nice thing about being a man as opposed to a woman is we can be "stylish" without being "fashionable."
